“I have 145W Sony DH790 amp with only a Center speaker attached (SS-CS8). I didn’t complete the purchase of other speakers due to pandemic. If I could buy one more speaker, what should I buy? Would the Core 3-way floor standing speaker make sense?”

I really like these speakers. I originally bought them to try as the second set of speakers for my Fisher Quadraphonic stereo receiver and paired them with the original Fisher 3-way speakers. They sound good. Now I am using them as the front speakers for my TV set up instead of the ceiling front speakers. I am still using the ceiling center (for Now) and rears. I really wanted to buy a Klipsh sound bar to replace my Sony sound bar but after all the bad reviews related to Bluetooth I decided to go back to old school and use my receiver and speakers. I would highly recommend the Sony speakers.
