• For the price they sound really great the next best is the punk Signature Series but there are about $300 a piece. I have mine hooked up to my 1100w Denon 7.2 receiver as long as you have a decent amount of Watts they should sound good. I get a good amount of bass out of these to.

• Speakers will only handle 145 watts. And they cannot really sound good if cranked up. These speakers should be pullin 50-100 watts max. Beyond that is overkill.
