“My tv has Dolby atmos, my receiver has Dolby atmos. Will this speaker broadcast in Dolby atmos or do I need a specific speaker?”

Hi Norse, Thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately, no. The SS-CS3 (Floor standing speaker) usually used as either a front or a surround speaker, and not as a Dolby Atmos speaker. For your setup, you will likely need to have our Dolby Atmos-enabled SS-CSE Speakers. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and No. Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers direct sound upward and reflect off the ceiling to produce incredibly lifelike, overhead sound. Sony does make Dolby Atmos speakers that sit on top of these speakers to bounce sounds off the ceilings or you can or you speakers in a 90° angle and Connect them to the Height channel in the back of the receiver.
