Unfortunately, no. The SS-CS3 (Floor standing speaker) usually used as either a front or a
surround speaker, and not as a Dolby Atmos speaker.

For your setup, you will likely need to have our Dolby Atmos-enabled SS-CSE Speakers. Designed especially for Dolby Atmos, the SS-CSE speakers result in surround sound that envelops you from every angle- even above!

Yes and No. Dolby Atmos-enabled speakers direct sound upward and reflect off the ceiling to produce incredibly lifelike, overhead sound. Sony does make Dolby Atmos speakers that sit on top of these speakers to bounce sounds off the ceilings or you can or you speakers in a 90° angle and Connect them to the Height channel in the back of the receiver.

The Sony SSCS3's will still require the Sony SSCSE's (small speakers that sit atop the floor standing speakers). These are upward facing speakers that will hook up as your "Height" speakers. to give you Dolby Atmos
