Usually, I drive the speakers with at least +50% more watts of the rated max power of the speakers. These speakers are rated to handle 145W max power as per the specs. BDVE580 specs states 165W per channel for all 5 channels rated at 3 ohms. I think you could use these speakers with BDVE580, but I wouldn't recommend it. Better to use an AV receiver. Since you already have all those speakers, get a 7.2 or 7.1 av receiver and use all speakers. :) *** Disclaimer: The information provided is personal opinion and use at your own risk.
