A:AnswerSony DSC-HX80 does not have manual focus feature thus rack focus will not be possible. As to taking a picture and blurring the background, this depends on your aperture setting on the camera. If you want your subject to be in focus and background to be blurry please use the widest aperture (f/3.5) using aperture priority mode.
A:AnswerHi bhehn, This camera does not come with a remote commander. Check out the RM-SPR1 or RM-VPR1 remote commander. These are fully compatible with DSC-HX80.
