Hi James, this model is not the same as DSC-HX90V, it has a viewfinder that pops up when you press the switch. -Jen
The 99 does not have the 90V’s GPS But does have a touch screen and shoots RAW. Like the 90V it has a pop-up EVF and flash. It takes a microSD card rather than the 90V’s SD card. And the lens zoom is now 27.8x and not 30x based on the numbers on the lens, though Sony still says “30x.” The size of the 99 is the same as the 90V.
This model has a digital Tru-finder, LCD touchscreen.
