• Hi there, When daylight saving time begins, the clock does not employ the daylight saving time automatically. You may need to press and hold the DISPLAY/CLOCK and SNOOZE /BRIGHTNESS simultaneously for at least 2 seconds to activate the Automatic DST function. -Jerome

• No, the alarm does require it to be manually changed for daylight savings.
