• I asked this same question when purchasing. The BB person explained is should be compatible with the latest Mac OS. The box may identify an earlier OS but only because that was the latest OS at time of printing the package. I have not connected it to my Mac so far but do not expect any problems. If I do experience a problem, I'll just email Sony for assistance. The recorder works great!
