QuestionWill the recording tranfer into text (word doc) when plugged into a laptop or do I need additional software?I'm a student and have no time to sit and transcribe. Will recordings automatically be transcribed to text once I plug the recorder into the laptop without the need for additional software?

- Answer You can record a conversation between the Digital Voice Recorder and your cellphone. However, the only way to record directly is to use the cell phone's speaker system and place the recorder close to it. There are recording devices available in the market that sit between your cell phone’s headset port and headset that will connect to the digital voice recorder's line input. .

QuestionQuality of sound playback through speakersI am a salesmen who is constantly calling customers on the phone and I have to leave messages for my future clients on their voice mails when they don't answer. I wanted to know if I can prerecord message templates and play them on the potential customers voice mail so I can have a perfect message every time? How is the speaker quality if i do this? Will it sound distorted?

- Answer It is recommended to use a direct line to your phone from the headphones jack. With a direct line to your phone. Any time you have playback from a speaker to the receiver of a phone there is a possibility of feedback.

- Answer The Sound organizer allows you to exchange files with IC recorder or memory card. The songs imported from music CD’s and other audio files imported from a computer, and podcasts can also be played and transferred to an IC recorder. Various operations can be performed for imported files, including playback, editing and conversion to MP3 and other formats. However, in order for the files to convert the voice to text, you will need to use voice recognition software Dragon Naturally Speaking which is compatible with sound organizer.

- Answer The ICDSX712 is an excellent device for recording meeting, interview and taking notes. It has rotating microphones for recording sound source in particular direction and pre-set recording scene (scene select) for quick access.
