      Answer

Hey Jesss23tpa, We're sorry to hear that you have to return the camera. Sad to say that the camera does not have an HDMI port and is not Wi-Fi capable. But if you are looking for these features, you might want to check DSCHX400 instead. Mitch

What is the AC adapter for, does it charge the battery? Will the battery charge through the USB cable?   (2 Answers)

The AC adapter is for charging the battery. USB cable does not charge this camera. There are stand-alone Sony X battery chargers that can charge the batteries outside of the camera. This camera does not come with an external charger.

Is this camera good for low light action? Or is there another recommendation? Thank you for your time.   (2 Answers)

No, I do not recommend this camera for low light and action shots. My experience has been more blurry than non-blurry for those kinds of shots. This camera is better for objects that are not moving. I had an old Canon PowerShot with 10x optical zoom that took better action photos than this camera. The Canon has an action mode, the Sony does not. I tried different settings on the Sony H400, but didn't help a whole lot. I have not tried action shots with a tripod. That might help.

The Sony H400 does NOT have WiFi. The Sony HX400 is a different camera, and is supposed to have WiFi.
