“whats the difference between wi fi enabled and wifi ready?”

WiFi support is built in with those cameras that are WiFi enabled while those that are WiFi ready still needs an acessory called an Eye-Fi WiFi SD card.

Wi-Fi enabled devices have wireless network adapters built in, while Wi-Fi ready devices require an extra adapter to connect to your home's wireless network.
