“Is this DVD player capable of outputting 480i with component cables? Asking because I'd like to use this with my old JVC CRT, which only supports up to 480i. If the DVD player only outputs 480p, I won't be able to get an image on my TV!”

• Yes ,you can use component cables and not activate Progressive scan in the menu so the picture will remain in 480i mode, picture quality is very good if you adjust the many picture settings .

• Works good using my jvc 36 in CRT as well my new lg 55 in 4k the 480i/480p is selectable using component cables .
