• Your record 20 to 30 min. on 1 side- finalize, then remove disc from camcorder and flip it over and re- insert unused side facing in and record on that side, then finalize and remove disc. @30 min per side when done

• My experience is that the 60 mins is a total for the DVD disc (30 per side). I have not tried the LP mode. I have let the Camera use a default mode when using the DVD-RW (30 min) and have recorded 60 min on a single side this way.

• Yes, on the majority of DVD camcorders you will need to turn the disc over to record on the other side.
