• Hi, yes, you can use the focus ring on the lens to manually adjust the focus. Set the camera to shoot in MF/DMF before doing so. Thanks_Mitch

• Sorry, if my other answer shows up....I meant to say that every lens I've every owned had the ability to manual focus! Yes the 24-240 will let you manual focus with a ring near the camera mount area.

• I think it's the camera that decides manual or auto focus. Look for AF/MF in the menus
