Will this lens fit well on the sony a5000 null

I was told it can fit on any Sony body :)

absolutely it's a perfect match. But remember that is 1.5 multiplication Factor for the focal lens on the a5000

It will "fit"on the mount, but do take into account your a5000 will crop it, so instead of being 24-240 it will actually be a 36-360 mm lens. Also it is a bit heavy so I recommend holding the lens at all time while shooting (you should be doing this with any lens anyways, but yeah).
