A:AnswerYeah, this CommunityAnswer thing (as well as the product description) is lying on both PS Gold products. This item is NOT Bluetooth. It's like a keyboard or mouse that comes with one of those USBs - that receiver is needed to work wirelessly. You can't just ignore that or circumvent it with BT. So no, I feel you with wanting to use these with newer phones lacking 3.5mm jacks, but that's going to be a negative.
A:AnswerI believe there are better options at the price point. Quality is fair but nothing special. If you want to mess with chat vs game volume on the mic itself, it does feature that. I have had to replace mine so I wouldn’t say the durability is great.
A:AnswerThey are supposed to get about 25 feet according to my research, but with personal experience I get about 30 feet then lose the signal. Also depends on the "line of site" to the PS4, if you leave the room your going to lose signal.
A:AnswerYes, these work on any device, since they have a USB dongle, any device that has a USB port will work with these. However, the xbox will not utilize the advanced features, but will work as a headphone in general.
