The Data Code or date/time stamp can only be seen when the videos are played back in the camera. This information will also show up when the camera is connected to a TV or external monitor. This information is also saved in the EXIF data of the video and can be accessed by opening the properties of the file. The date/time will not be displayed when the file is transferred.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’m not an expert but I’ve had a lot of cameras. the old point and shoots date stamped. This camcorder files your video by date so you always know when it was taken. Nowadays you click on properties or details and it tells you. I’ve looked at properties or details on my point and shoots and it even told me what camera I used. Big help to me. Does it date stamp on the video? No. You don’t really want that on your nice video.
