“Can you record with the date and time stamp burned into the video? I need to play back the video with the time & date stamp on the video without using special cables to get the time and date stamp? Anyone know?”

Hi 007, Sony's commitment to customer satisfaction is our top priority. The camcorder cannot burn the time stamp onto the video while recording. The timestamp has to be applied in post. Thank you so much for your question. And thank you for choosing Sony.
