“Hey, I want to use this camera for filming hunts. With that being said I would need this camera to perform in low temperatures. The specs say 50 degrees F. Has anybody had any experience?”

I've used in outside in the winter in Michigan when it was near 0 degrees F. It works well.

Do not press the record button until you have the camera in the horizontal position Conserve your battery power by placing the iPhone in low battery mode Also you can maintain silence by placing the camera in the airplane mode when recording and when not in use Nothing like a ringtone to clear out the forest ! Keep the phone insulated The camera model which you identified would be less than appropriate and somewhat problematic to manipulate in cold weather conditions I would strongly advise you at least test any camera prior to purchase. If you encounter any issues in a bright clean store you can extrapolate how cold-weather operation issues might be compounded. Happy Hunting!
