I ise Final Cut Pro X without issues. Just pop the SD card out and use a card reader rather than connecting the camera to the computer

Please try again later.I never use any of these download programs, I just take out the SD card and put it in a card reader (mine is built in to the computer, or I use a small card reader that plugs in to a usb port and use file manager to copy and paste the video files into the folder I want them in. In almost every case it will download faster, because the card is fast, but the regular usb 2.0 connection is slower. Going through the built in card reader goes much faster (probably 3.0 speeds) and if you portable card reader is usb 3.0 and your computer has a USB 3.0 port then you will go faster.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The camera creates movies in AVCHD, MPEG-4, XAVC S. The video files are not in iMovie format. You will have to create an iMovie using one of the video formats. iMovie should be able to read the video files to create the iMovie file.
