Hi toyumatic, there shouldn't be a delay when a direct/wired connection is established between devices. There may be some sort of interference in the location where your devices were when they were connected via Bluetooth. Thanks, -Mark

Please try again later.to SonyListens there is a slight delay on the XB7 when connected via RCA. i think its because of the lighting effect on the speaker, that it has to sync on the music. is the XB60 has the same effect? the smaller speakers, like the XB40 does not have that problem.
