Once it has been paired to the s9, it will automatically show on his phone when he is within range of the speaker and turns on his bluetooth. Have you already paired your s9+ with the speaker? Please try this: turn off bluetooth on the s9 (or make sure it's not in range of the speaker). Next, enable the speaker for pairing and search for it on your s9+ (with your bluetooth on, ofcourse. Once paired, you should have no issue connecting. Only one device can connect at a time when both devices are closeby and have bluetooth enabled. This means you may need to switch off bluetooth on s9 if you want to use s9+ or vice versa.
