“I have a LG 70UM6970PUA, I watch most of my content through a Chromecast with google tv. I also have a ps4 & switch that are connected. I was looking to get the HT-A7000 and new SA-RS5 speakers. Is this sound bar compatible or too much for my current tv?”

Hi Trev23, Thank you for your inquiry! The HTA7000 sounds perfect for your TV setup! For this, we recommend having the external devices connected to your TV and connect the HTA7000 to the HDMI eARC and have the TV output the audio to your soundbar. With this setup, you can enjoy object audio content, such as Dolby Atmos - Dolby TrueHD and DTS:X or multi-channel LPCM content that cannot be transmitted with ARC by connecting the speaker system and TV compatible with eARC using an HDMI cable. If your TV is not capable of eARC, and you have an external device that is capable of Dolby Atmos, we recommend having the external device connected to the HTA7000 directly instead. With this setup, the HTA7000 will still output Dolby Atmos. Also, please make sure to run the Sound Field Optimization feature of the HTA7000. This will measure the position of each speaker and optimizes the sound to your room. I hope this helps! Regards, Carl
