“I am planning on purchasing the Sony HT-A7000 sound bar and I've read through the Q&A but did not quite find the answer. Can I use a non sony wireless subwoofer with the sound bar? or does it only sync to the SW3 or SW5?”

Hi Clau, Thank you for your interest with our HT-A7000! Only Sony wireless subwoofers are compatible with the soundbar. If you want to expand the audio system, you may connect the optional subwoofers(SA-SW5,SA-SW3) and rear speakers (SA-RS3S, SA-RS5). We hope that between some of our premium audio technologies such as Vertical Surround Engine and S-Force Pro Front Surround, you feel like you are not only in a sphere of sound, but inside the movie itself. To ensure that you are getting the most out of the HT-A7000, make sure to toggle on the "Immersive AE" remote button to upscale the entire audio systems' performance. Additionally, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room.
