“I would like to sit this on top of a 65” wide stand that has two tall bookshelves on each end. Will these side barriers impact the sound quality? I can’t tell if all sound is from front and up firing speakers or if need clear sides too.”

For optimal performance, when putting the soundbar on a stand, make sure there are no obstacles at each end so that sound directed to the sides is not obstructed.
