“When using this sound bar and the Dish Network Hopper-3 can i adjust the volume with the dish's remote or do i still need to use two remotes for the TV Sony XR-55A80J? I guess what I'm trying to find out does this Sony Sound Bar work with Dish Network.”

Hi Pmhgeneral, Thank you so much for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee full compatibility on devices other than those manufactured by Sony. However, the HTA7000 should work with your remote controller of The Sony TV. For this, we recommend having the Bravia Sync function enabled on both the HTA7000 and XR55A80J TV and the Dish Network's control for HDMI. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it works with hopper and dish. You have to connect the sound bar… but that’s done super easy from the settings menu with dish. The tech that set up my dish connected it all for me. So call them if you have issue. They can walk you through it.
