Hi burntrubber, thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. Currently, the BRAVIA Acoustic Center sync mode of the HT-A9 is only compatible with 2021 BRAVIA TV models such as the Z9J series, A90J series, A80J, and X95J series. However, you can still connect your A9G TV via HDMI ARC/eARC connection to output the sound from your TV to the HT-A9. Hope this helps! -Sam
