“Has anyone experienced any issues with this soundbar and using next gen console? I'm having to choose from 120hz and Dolby Atmos... I either connect directly to the soundbar to get better sound or continue to use eARC enjoy my 120fps but lose dolby atmos”

If you're using a Sony TV with the sound bar I'm in the same boat, it's a filmWare issue that Sony is having and they are working on an update soon to fix it.
