“Can this be connected to my Amazon Echo? Being Bluetooth I assume is can, But I can't get it to connect.”

Not via Bluetooth. They have Bluetooth receivers which seek audio to play through their speaker but the two will not redirect audio to something else as they are made to be paired with anything that has an interface to allowing pairing
