Hi Johnny, Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, it is. This soundbar can be connected to the XR BRAVIA TV through HDMI connection and Bluetooth connection. To listen sound on the soundbar wirelessly or via Bluetooth connection, the TV needs to be compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile. Consumer Electronics Control (CEC) is an HDMI function that allows the command and control of devices connected to your audio system and TV. In able to control the soundbar using the TV remote, an HDMI cable must be used for CEC function to work.
