Hi Scoop, Thank you for your inquiry. This unit has a wireless subwoofer. And, it connects to your TV via HDMI ARC, optical, or *Bluetooth connection. Note: *The TV needs to be compatible with A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) to connect via Bluetooth. Hope this helps! -Sam
