QuestionCan I mount this sound bar to my TV Mount? We plan to mount a 65" Sony TV to a wall and will not have any furniture below to set the sound bar on, so installing it to the tv mount is required. Can this be done and if so, how?

We recommend to have the installation done by a Sony dealer or licensed contractor and pay special attention to safety during the installation. QuestionWhat is the difference between this one and the HGT700?

- Answer Hi Brian, thank you for inquiring about the HT-Z9F and HT-G700. The HT-Z9F has support for WiFi including Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa as well as Hi-Res music playback. Additionally, the HT-Z9F has compatibility with the SA-Z9R rear speaker kit. Both soundbars support eARC and 4K passthrough for great experiences watching TV and movie content. Please note the HT-Z9F has 2 HDMI inputs while the HT-G700 has 1. QuestionI have the 2 wireless rear speaker that crackle a lot. I discovered through a Sony rep The speakers can be hardwired with 2 ring audio cables. I did that but I need help how to set up. Lights are supposed to go from green to orange when wired.

QuestionCan the sub-woofer be connected via a wire? I currently have an LG soundbar where the sub-woofer sometimes disconnects briefly due to all the wireless interference in our apartment. If we cant get the system all fully wired then that's a deal breaker.

- Answer Hi Oby, The HTZ9F soundbar wirelessly connects to the subwoofer, although it does have features in the onscreen GUI to assist in improving the subwoofer connection. However, if your preference is for a wired solution, Sony does offer a variety of AV Receivers instead. -Sam

- Answer You can't. The soundbar is its own receiver. It cannot be used as a speaker for another system.

QuestionHow do I program remote to power my Sony TV?

- Answer I don't recall a specific setting to get the remote from my Sony Bravia TV to work with the Soundbar. It worked straight from the box for me because I connected it through the HDMI ARC input. I actually didn't even put the batteries into the Soundbar remote until after I had finished setting it up.

QuestionI have a Sony x900F. I also have a stand alone subwoofer hooked up via a 3.5mm cable f/headphone jack to the sub. It surprisingly works well. If I bought the HTZ9F. Could I use my current sub with this sb? As I’ve heard the sub this comes w isn’t great.

QuestionIt is compatible with the Samsung UBD-M8500 Blu-ray player? I can't get sound quality when used with aforementioned Blu-ray player. But I really like the blu player. Is it just that it's a piece of garbage like all Sony Blu-ray players are garbage?

QuestionI purchased the Sony HT-Z9F from BB.It is connected to a LG TV. My cable box is connected to HDMI 1. When everything is turned on ( Cable box remote has been setup to control tv), TV Cable Box and HT-Z9F turn on but default input is HOME instead of HDMI 1

- Answer Need to see if your TV has eArc input. Also need to make sure that you are using HDMI 3.1 cables. Cheaper cables aren't able to carry the speed needed to work properly.
