- Answer I have installed this unit in my 2006 Honda Accord. Since the factory stereo is integrated into the climate control gauges, you have to keep the factory unit installed. I removed the storage bin and installed the stereo there.

QuestionWill it work on my 2001 Corolla? Also, my car doesn't play CD, it comes with a cassette slot. Would it be able to play CD on this new stereo?

- Answer It will work. You will have to do some wiring but should be no problem. I don't think you'll be able to get an adapter for your car but it wont hurt to ask the guys at BestBuy. Keep in mind that the BlueTooth feature for phone calls will only work thru the front speakers, so make sure to remember this when installing and make sure that the front speakers work. All features (including CD) will work. I have this unit in a 1983 Classic Mini Cooper S and love it!

Questionwhen I have music playing and i try to turn up the volume sometimes itll turn up and sometimes it wont but when i pause it turns up and down after a while of my music playing it works i just got a sub installed and its even worse think more power is bad

- Answer If another adjustment or source has been selected or entered you won’t be able to adjust the volume... you have to exit out of that display showing or wait a few seconds before you can return to the volume and it will exit out of display showing and then you can adjust it louder ... That may be the solution to your problem.

- Answer Hi, Help! Please try to reset the car stereo to factory default settings and try again. See page 8 on how to. https://www.sony.com/electronics/support/res/manuals/4597/6fe8b5239ed33903bf19065df648d08d/45971436M.pdf If resetting didn't resolve the issue, there must be an issue with the wirings of the car stereo. Sony recommends that the installation be completed by a professional and qualified installer. Regards, David
