“when I have music playing and i try to turn up the volume sometimes itll turn up and sometimes it wont but when i pause it turns up and down after a while of my music playing it works i just got a sub installed and its even worse think more power is bad”

If another adjustment or source has been selected or entered you won’t be able to adjust the volume... you have to exit out of that display showing or wait a few seconds before you can return to the volume and it will exit out of display showing and then you can adjust it louder ... That may be the solution to your problem.
