- Answer as long as you have access to the streaming service that playstation offers (requires a playstation plus paid membership), then No. you can enable game streaming on the portal from the settings menu, but it is a beta feature at this time. you cannot install games directly to this

QuestionDespite this product being only able to use remote play. If I’m X amount of miles away, but my remote play on PS5 is on and in rest mode, can I play it with no connection issues? Or does it have to be on the same network for the portable to be used?

- Answer No, it does not have to be on the same network. You can use PS Remote Play over the internet, even if you’re miles away — as long as both your PS5 and the remote device (like a smartphone, PS Portal, PC, etc.) have strong and stable internet connections.

QuestionMy Nephew has a ps5 and it works until he plays Fortnite and then it overheats and its when he plays Fortnite do you know what would cause it? And if i buy him a Ps5 Portal and he played Fortnite on it would it overheat or should it be fine?

- Answer The portal mainly works off the conslole. Think of the portal as just a mirrored screen for the console. It's 90% an accessory for the console. If he gets a portal, and still plays fortnite, he'll still be playing it off the console. It's probably overheating for numerous reasons. One COULD be.. that he's had the console for a while and he's a kid so the system needs to be cleaned. Another could be that it sits vertical and the thermal paste needs replaced. Laying the console down horizontally may help. Need more info with a question like that

- Answer As long as your conn red to any WiFi on the portal and your ps5 is connected to home WiFi, yes. Just make sure you leave your PS is on sleep/rest and you set it to pair in rest mode on the ps5.

- Answer You need a ps5. The portal has to be connected to a system and will basically mirror the PS. I’ve never tried without it but you might be able to play games available with PS+ premium. Maybe best to ask Sony.

- Answer Hi Aaron, No you do not need PS+ to play on the portal, but you will need PS+ if you want to play online with friends. Without PS+ you can just play by yourself from the physical disc inside your Portal. With that said, PS+ has several different options and the cheapest one is less than $10 per month and you can stream other games from PS+, worth looking into.
