with all the other features turned off except for the wide-tap setting (which extends the affected area for the sensor controls) I got roughly 7 hours. They do give you a notification if you turn on too many settings saying it will shorten the battery life. I think if you turn on more than 2 at a time.

5.5 hours per ear buds and about 12 hours of charge in case

Sony claims 5.5 hours, but mine tend to last 6-7 before needing to be charged in the case.
