While Sony does not make a remote for this camera, you could get around this by using your computer performing what is known as tethered shooting with the included USB cord. Not nearly as hand as a remote, it will work. Although, this would typically only be useful for studio work and it is likely that you will not be using the C3 for studio work. So, yeah...long answer for a short question. The simple answer is no, the C3 will not work with a remote of any type, including the old NEX 5's intervalometer remote.
