No one but Sony could 100% confirm this, but any and all indications from their previous releases and precedent would suggest that these will work with a PS5. That said, I would seriously consider a different set of headphones, these have been terrible for me (2 pairs now) as the headphones make popping noises, they drop connection randomly (even with a USB extender) and that dongle will overheat in under 30 minutes (probably why they drop). Not worth the $$$.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No one can answer this question fully until we get more information about the PS5 (as of Feb '20), but it currently works in at least some capacity with any device with a USB port or aux cable port. So long as the PS5 has a USB slot it should have at least baseline functions. As is that makes it a fine headset, with many alternative uses, granting decent audio quality (if a little worse than other headsets of similar price.) If the headset app is ported to the PS5 and the party chat system remains similar on to the PS4 then that would be all that is needed for the headset to be fully compatable with the PS5 and that seems like it could be simple for Sony to do.There is a chance they won't port those things, and leave a ton of people wondering why they would buy a proprietary headset from Sony again.
