“Does anyone know if there is a mic in the headsets or if the mic is only attached to the audio cable?”

• There is no audio cable. The mic is in the head set and there's two of them.

• The mic is in the headset. No wires from the headset to the controller, just like the current Gold version.

• it has two mics which built in on each side of the headset

• The dual mics are built in, it does not have the best mic quality but they do use noise cancellation.

• It's in that headset, can't expect a mostly gaming headset to be wireless without a built in mic. (Yes its built into the headphones)
