Yes some games are free some cost money

If you have the PlayStation plus account there are some games you get for free but most game you have to pay for.

some are free, some are trial and some you will have to pay for

You have to be a Playstation network member in order to play a Playstation 3, 4 or 4pro online. Playstation network will give you 2 free downloadable games ever month. But if you want to download a game like cod ww2, you will have to buy it threw Playstation store or buy the game on disc.

Not sure what your really asking here, but if your talking about buying a new game as a download then yes you would pay for it.
