diferences between this and the previous camera??? null

Nothing. It was given a facelift for a sleeker look. I have the old camera and determined there was not a need for the new one. The old work with all the new and old accessories, especially the VR system.

The only difference between the old camera and the new is the design, specs-wise it's the same camera. I bought the new one for my PSVR because other reviewers said it's easier to adjust than the old camera. However, the new stand won't work on top of our Sony Bravia TV (new ledge design isn't deep enough) and the cable is too heavy for the stand so it pulls the camera all over the place when sitting in front of your TV. This would be going back if I didn't get it on Black Friday sale for $29.99. If the old camera is working fine for you, I don't recommend wasting your money on the new one.

The playstation camera works excellent with the ps4, no rigging it up with all kinds of wires, just plug and play, simple setup!! Excellent!!

Only difference I have noticed is the design of it. Performance seems identical

Nothing internal, just the exterior shape.

This one is newer. I work in manufacturing. Newer is always better. ALWAYS!
