Q: diferences between this and the previous camera???
A: Nothing. It was given a facelift for a sleeker look. I have the old camera and determined there was not a need for the new one. The old work with all the new and old accessories, especially the VR system.
Q: can I use this camera to take pictures and record videos to upload to YouTube?
A: Yes that is correct. The camera will allow you to take pictures and also FaceTime with other people that have the PS4
Q: my camera shows my picture upside down how can you fix this
A: Don't install it upside down into the base.
Q: Can I use this instead of the playmove joystick to play just dance
A: Yes, works great
Q: Can this camera be used to live stream on YouTube? through the ps4,of course
A: You can use it to include video with a live stream broadcast on Twitch directly from the console. I imagine YouTube works as well, but I have not tried it personally.
A: Top of tv is what Sony recommends. Pretty simple too.
A: Yes, this has a mic but it's ok at best and picks up everything in the room. The main purpose of the camera is to have a face cam for streaming or the odd PS move game which have fallen to the wayside with the Nintendo switch. I would greatly encourage you to go with a headset instead its a must-have for any gamer, and the Kingston Hyperx Cloud 2s have been my daily headset now for years and are a rock-solid choice at 79$ on sale right now on amazon.
Q: Can you mount the camera [securely] to a pc monitor?
A: I am sure you could modify it somehow, but as far as out of the box it either sets stand alone or can sit on the ledge of a TV or Monitor from what I can tell.
