It captures images and videos clearly when in the right lighting. It sits very well on the top of the TV. It’s easy to take on and off of the tv and is adjustable.

It's Alright, Nothing Exciting

I have the PS4 camera and Xbox One Kinect. My Kinect is used everyday cause of the voice command interactions with my Xbox One, cable box, TV, and audio receiver.

Adds a couple fun features to the PS4

Video quality is fine, and they make it super simple to setup a streaming interface and layout. They make the webcam video very small though. The cable on the camera isn't too short but it's pretty short, the mount is also kind of janky and it's hard to know how to position the camera properly. Conveniently the camera acts a microphone in games and so on, sometimes I forget its on and everyone in the multiplayer lobby had to just suffer 10 minutes of me talking to whoever is next to me on the couch. The camera enables the PS4 voice command features but I have yet to have success in doing anything. Even opening Netflix it seems to not be able to do.

Great new design

I bought this camera to complete a VR setup, which is really cool. This camera works great but still does not track as well as pc VR systems. The PS4 is a very good option to get into VR, just keep in mind that the experiences will be mostly sitting down.

- A:Answer Nothing. It was given a facelift for a sleeker look. I have the old camera and determined there was not a need for the new one. The old work with all the new and old accessories, especially the VR system.

Q: QuestionDO you need to buy a separate microphone if you have this? My 10 year old Grandson is getting a PS4Pro for Christmas and I am looking at accessories for it, He wants a microphone like a Hyper X but I am not sure he needs that if I get him this?

- A:Answer Yes, this has a mic but it's ok at best and picks up everything in the room. The main purpose of the camera is to have a face cam for streaming or the odd PS move game which have fallen to the wayside with the Nintendo switch. I would greatly encourage you to go with a headset instead its a must-have for any gamer, and the Kingston Hyperx Cloud 2s have been my daily headset now for years and are a rock-solid choice at 79$ on sale right now on amazon.

- A:Answer I am sure you could modify it somehow, but as far as out of the box it either sets stand alone or can sit on the ledge of a TV or Monitor from what I can tell.
