• I would not allow this item to sit on the glare-shield and cook in direct sunlight. The thermal albido of the black cabinet will assist in raising internal temps beyond the ambient. If its not in sunlight, I'm sure the amp and the battery will be fine.

• I don't know a specific temperature but I'm confident it will be fine. I have left mine in the truck. I just wouldn't leave it in direct sunlight or in plain view. A lot of people would love to have it.

• I live in a hot climate as well and I wouldn't leave anything of value in a car. It's small and very portable so take it out of the car with you.
