Here's my Battery Life / Play-Time experience after 4 months of use : My experience has been that the least "full-charge" play-time that you can get out of one of these speakers is somewhere between 13 to 16 hours. I've been giving my speakers a full (maximum) 4 hour charge AFTER fully discharging them, and I plan on giving them at least 10 FULL charge/discharge cycles before I ever "short-charge" them "on-the-fly". - Follow the instructions and charge the speaker(s) right-out-of-the-box! - NO MORE THAN 4 HOURS EVER. - The charging indicator light should always shut off in 2 to 3 hours of charging. - I got over 19 hours of play-time out of the first charge on one speaker and over 17 hours on the second one. = YOUR RESULTS MAY VARY depending on: your charging discipline, volume level usage and other environmental factors like heat and humidity, etc., etc., etc. --> NOTE: NEVER over-charge a Lithium-ion/Li-ion hybrid battery. Unplug it within 1 to 2 hours (max.) after it is fully charged. AND, ALWAYS try to fully charge and discharge your battery, "full" cycles ARE important. If you ever have to store your device with a Lithium-ion battery for more than a couple of weeks, make sure you put it away fully charged. ... Once a Li-ion battery fully loses its charge and ends up sitting fully discharged for more than a couple of weeks, it may very well die completely or may never be able to be fully charged again. I AM fully expecting that these batteries should be able to be "fully" cycled (charged/discharged) AT LEAST 100 to 150 times, and they may be able to be made to last up to 300 cycles before they finally fail outright. ... Again, your charging discipline, from the initial use is key to the batteries' actual longevity. - AND, NO the batteries contained in these speakers are NOT intended to be replaced by the consumer/owner. ... However, from my own experience with Sony Consumer Products Service and Repair, I'd be willing to bet that Sony Service Centers, in America, will be able to replace the batteries in these speakers for many years to come. The "down-side" reality is that this type of service will, most likely, cost a fair bit more than you ever paid for the speaker to begin with.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure of exact details, but the battery life is excellent. It lasts me a very long time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I play almost everyday and have had it one month. I have only charged it three times. It keeps a great charge. The battery can not be replaced. It is charged by an electric plug.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery life is good, should last for a few hours easily. No, you cannot change the battery.
