• It's a radio, not a smart phone or a computer. A car radio has more reception power, but it does pretty well, it's digital ,so if you get a station you can lock it in.

• Hi Pa, You don't need an internet access for the device. The radio reception will still depend on the signal in your area. ~Ralph
