If the battery is larger it usually is because it has a larger capacity and will provide add’l power and thus last longer!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The replacement battery fits my camera the same but the Best Buy tech looked it up for me on the Sony website fir compatibly. Have them check it out for you. If in unopened they can take it back if it is wrong fir your camera.
