“Does radio have a clock? Clocks drain battery when radio not in use. I am looking for a radio that has no battery drain when turned off.”

• Don't worry about battery life with the clock. I bought this radio about 2 months ago and finally had to change the battery. The battery I installed initially was a Harbor Freight battery so not high end. I'm pleased with the battery life.

• plug it in to outlet and you do not need battery.

• Yes there is a clock, no it does NOT drain the one AAA battery. I've been using the older version for years at ballgames and it last about day and a half. This newer Sony Walkman seams to last me three days of continuous use before battery change.

• Yes it has a clock. I have had it for 5 weeks and it still has the same battery i put in 5 weeks ago.
