- Answer Hi Buck, Thank you for your question. Most soundbars are a closed system, meaning they only work with their brand. So no, these will not work with a Samsung soundbar as rear speakers. The SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers are only compatible with the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, and HT-A7000 soundbars and new ES Series lineup. Pairing these speakers to any other soundbars or audio system is not supported. Regards, Jess

The HT-A5000 gives you access to Sony’s revolutionary 360 Spatial Sound Mapping technology when connected to Sony’s wireless rear speakers SA-RS5 and SA-RS3S. Make sure that the software of your HT-A5000 is updated to Version 1.378. We’ve recently released a firmware update that adds support for the 360 Spatial Sound Mapping function. To ensure that you are getting the most out of your HT-A5000, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room. To enable the [360 Spatial Sound Mapping] function, refer to the help guide. Regards, Jess

- Answer Hi Turntable, Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, you cannot directly connect these rear speakers to the PS-LX310BT turntable. You will have to pair the SA-RS3S with the compatible models (HT-A7000/HT-A5000/HT-A3000). Once connected, you can connect the turntable to the soundbar via Bluetooth. This turntable has a Bluetooth capability to transmit a signal for Bluetooth connectivity with headphones and speakers. Combine these optional wireless rear speakers with your soundbar to create an even more cinematic surround sound experience. These rear speakers automatically connect to your HT-A7000, HT-A5000, or HT-A3000 soundbar right out of the box, bringing crystal-clear, room-filling sound into any home theater environment. QuestionI already have one set of the SA-RS3S for the rear but want to add another set to the front. Is this something that will work with the HTA7000 or do you have anything that you can suggest to work with this sound bar for front speakers?

- Answer Hi JB, Thank you so much for your inquiry! Only one pair of these optional rear speakers (SA-RS3S or SA-RS5) can be paired with our HT-A7000, HT-A5000, and HT-A3000 Soundbars at a time. Unfortunately, the HT-A7000 soundbar is not designed to support additional front speakers. However, our HT-A7000 has the Immersive AE feature! A clever algorithm adds overhead sound to conventional surround soundtracks and even stereo audio, converting everything you listen to into immersive sound experiences. To ensure that you are getting the most out of your HT-A7000, make sure to toggle on the "Immersive AE" remote button to upscale the entire audio systems' performance. Additionally, make sure to run Sound Field Optimization so that the soundbar can calibrate its performance to your environment, and that it sounds like it was engineered to be in your room. QuestionI have the Sony Sound bar 5000 with new Sony Oled 77” tv. Bought rear speakers RS3S. Barely hear anything out of rear speakers with volume on max. Put my ear to it and it’s on. I don’t understand. Volume up or down no difference. Returning I guess

- Answer I had the same problem. When I did the sound mapping, the sound from the rears was nice & loud. But when I was playing one of my movies, there was very low sound. I even did the mapping again in case I missed something. Doing the mapping (again), I decided to tell the soundbar (A3000) that the rears were FAR away from me, instead of close (which they are). What a difference! Even broadcast movies (with surround coding) sound great. I think the sound engineers should have made a single sound level & let you control the level with the remote. Just a thought.

- Answer I believe you need either the T5000 or the T7000 sound bar from Sony, I have the T5000 and they are easy to set up and will not drown out the sound bar-
