A:AnswerThere is a reason why auto dimming exists for OLEDs, it is to prevent burn-in. Sure you can turn it off but then don't complain if after a couple of months you get burn-in of your logos onto the screen.
Up firing speakers on the rear would be nice, and I'm not sure why Sony didn't include it. But the main point of rear speakers is to get better surround sound than just the soundbar alone and from that standpoint it does its job.
A:AnswerHi SMOKEEATER838,
We're sorry you've been running into difficulty. The HT-S2000 soundbar can connect wirelessly to Sony's optional speakers including the wireless rear speakers SA-RS5 and SA-RS3S and optional wireless subwoofers SA-SW5 and SA-SW3. These rear speakers automatically connect to your HT-A700, HT-A5000, HT-A3000, or HT-S2000 soundbar right out of the box, bringing crystal-clear, room-filling sound into any home theater environment.
If you cannot connect the speakers to a compatible model automatically or you use multiple compatible models and want to specify the compatible model for connecting the speakers, perform the manual connection.

A:AnswerHi 310dad,
Thanks for your inquiry! Unfortunately, connecting additional rear speakers is not supported by the HT-SC40 soundbar.
The SA-RS3S wireless rear speakers are only compatible with the HT-A3000, HT-A5000, and HT-A7000. It cannot connect with any other of our soundbars.
Enhance your home theater experience with optional wireless rear speakers for the HT-A7000, HT-A5000 or HT-A3000 Soundbar. These rear speakers automatically connect to your HT-A7000, HT-A5000 or HT-A3000 soundbar right out of the box, bringing crystal-clear, room-filling sound into any home theater environment.
Regards,
Jess
A:AnswerThe only speaker sets which work with these receiver speakers are the HT 3000, HT 5000, and HT 7000 Sony sound bars which will transmit to them.
A:AnswerHi there, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, no. Unfortunately, no. The SARS3S wireless rear speakers are only compatible with HT-A7000 or HT-A5000 soundbar. I would recommend using the optional wireless rear speakers for your HT-Z9F which is the Sony SA-Z9R. Hope this helps! -Sam
A:AnswerThe actual weight of one speaker is 2.44lbs. The ten lb comment duped me into buying too big of stands. And the item description must be for the entire package weight.
A:AnswerHi JR, Thanks for your inquiry. Unfortunately, your HTCT770 soundbar doesn't have an option to pair with a rear wireless speaker. If you're looking to upgrade to a new Sony soundbar, I'd suggest checking out these models: HT-A7000 or HT-A5000 soundbar. Both of these models are compatible with the SARS3S wireless rear speakers. Hope this helps! -Sam
