Hello Pw, Thank you for considering Sony products! We appreciate your inquiry and are happy to assist you. The Sony SA-SW3 is a wireless subwoofer specifically designed to work seamlessly with compatible Sony audio systems, such as the HT-A7000 soundbar. On the other hand, the Yamaha RX-V4A is a 5.2-channel AV receiver that supports wired subwoofers. Since the SA-SW3 is intended for wireless connectivity with Sony’s BRAVIA Connect-compatible devices, it may not be compatible with the wired subwoofer outputs on the Yamaha RX-V4A. For optimal performance, we recommend using a wired subwoofer that is compatible with your Yamaha receiver.
